Canadian Blattner Varieties
Yes, some Blattner PIWI varieties are grown in British Columbia, including Petite Milo, Epicure, Cabernet Foch, Amiel, La Belle, Corivese and Cabernet Libre. These vines were bred in Switzerland and then seeds were germinated in British Columbia where selections were made.
Agriscope
Recently Agriscope has released two new grape varieties with positive reviews. Unfortunately, these grapes are not available to Canadian growers yet.
