Disease Resistance
Vidoc has excellent mildew/fungus resistance and is one of the most modern hybrids as of 2022. The inclusion of the Run1, Ren3 and Ren9 genes for resistance has made it practically immune to powdery mildew.
Powdery Mildew Resistance
The inclusion of the Run1 gene in Vidoc confers practically total resistance to powdery mildew (E. Necator). The addition Ren3 and Ren9 genes also improve the grapevines resistance to powdery mildew.
